The launch list collects your first name, last name, email and optional phone only when you tick the consent box and submit. Your phone is for a follow-up about joining, if needed; it does not authorise marketing calls or texts. Joining the launch list is not club membership or an event booking.
Mailchimp manages the signup list and sends an email to confirm new signups. Existing preferences, including opt-outs, remain unchanged. Authorised club admins manage the updates you requested in Mailchimp.
Every marketing email must include an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to opt you out by emailing events@z-community.com; we action requests within five working days. We retain a minimal consent and suppression record to avoid contacting people who opted out.
Our host stores a receipt of the signup request, consent wording and date, provider name and a keyed hash of the email. It does not copy the Mailchimp contact list into event or loan records. Temporary hashed network identifiers limit automated requests and expire within two hours; hosting services may also keep security logs. Mailchimp and hosting providers may process data outside Australia. We do not sell the list or add event guests without separate consent.
